Eeeeew soooo grossed out!!!
We noticed we have ants so we ordered those terro traps off amazon and set them up .........
Those things actually CAUSE MORE ANTS TO COME OUT because it attracts them out of their nest!! We set up the traps in my kitchen and I just went down to find rows of ants walking in straight lines  
There are also a BUNCH near the front door to my house and I'm so skeeved. I want to be able to leave my house later to get some lunch.. but I'm seriously so beyond skeeved by the army of ants surrounding the front door. Seriously. Eeew.

the ants go marching one by one hoorah horrah lol ok sorry thats the first thing that I thought of when I read that there were in a straight row lol...I would def. hire an exterminator!!

Actually, we just set up these traps last night and the catch is, they cause more ants to come out at first so the problems gets worse before it gets better. It attracts the ants out of their nest with this stuff that smells like syrup and tastes really sweet (to them, anyway) .. and they eat it.. take it back to their little clan ... and then BOOM! (within 24-48hrs)
My DH says by the end of the weekend they should be gone.
However........... they are in full force now

Maybe they are on their way to a Dave Matthews concert?
OK Seriosuly though, I had issues as well last spring and now I use this Ortho any powder...it is white and toxic...so dont use it if you have kids, animals in your yard....but it works

Trust me when I say you want MORE ants going for it. That will increase the likelyhood it gets taken back to their nest.
I have never had Terro fail me. You put it out where you see ants. Then you get 10x more. Then they are all GONE.
I never need to hire an exterminator for ants.

I had a similar experience a few years ago. I set the Terro traps, got up during the night and flipped on the kitchen light to find rows of large ant walking across my ceiling. I never saw so many ants in my life! I fought the urge to kill them, and by the next day, they were gone. I haven't seen ants in my kitchen since that time.
