How long did it take for your lawn to look great?
We caved into the profesionals and let them begin a program on our lawn. The first treatment was this past fall and we are on some regimented plan for the next few months. Because I am a black thumb and very inpatient, I just want to know when can I expect a healthy lawn. Ok so I know it won't happen this year because we were weed central for the past two years since closing because we didnt do anything to treat the lawn (the owner before didn't do much either). So realistically how many years does it take to rehabilitate the lawn? TIA

Our lawn last year was decent in the front. We just mowed and watered. This year, dh did a bunch of scotts to it and it looks freaking great. It needs a cut, but our guys dont start up again until next week. But super green, very thick all crab grass is gone and we are doing some weed/clover killer thing this week.

We regular chemicals, about 1 year (2nd season). Organic, about 3 years.
