BTDT mom question RE diaper bag
Silly new mom to be question here - Did you purchase those plastic cosmetic bags to put liquids/ointments in within your diaper bag in case of spills? I am not sure if having bags within a bag is necessary?! Please help!

Nope, never really thought about that. All i carry is in there that could get messy is infant motrin and bordeaux's butt paste

I have 3 in my diaper bag because I have a LL Bean Boat and Tote Bag I use for a diaper bag. 1 larger cos. bag for powder, sunscreen, A&D ointment, travel body wash and baby wash, another smaller one for tampons, pantyliners, tylenol(for me), hand sanitizer, klennex, and pens/scrap paper, and a 3rd one for baby tylenol, band-aids, baby motrin, orajel, spoon/fork, and I kept paci's in there as well.
In a "real" diaper bag I don't see a need, but for the boat and tote I needed something to stay organized. I highly suggest this route and I had ours personalized with an E so it'll be Emmy's some day.
