Regarding heat

What do you set your temperature during the day now that we are in April?

What do you think of someone having the temp set to 80-81? TIA

Re: Regarding heat

For us, the month or season is almost irrelevant. Heat is set for 68 during the day and 66 at night. AC is set for 76, I think.

we keep it at 67 when we are home 64 when out or sleeping (or maybe 62, now I can't remember, its all on the timer!). We don't adjust for seasons, I don't want it colder than that...and if get warmer in the house cause its warmer than 67, no much I can do about that!

Re: Regarding heat

It must be really drafty where I live. I keep the heat at 68 and still need a sweater on.

Mine too. I keep my heat on 62 during the day (I am home all day) at 5pm I bring it up to 70 then at 9pm back down to 62. I on the 2nd floor I put it to 58 during the day because the kids aren't up there anyway.

IMO 80 is just ridiculous. How the heck can anyone afford that and if you could, that is just like burning money. Completely wasteful. JMO.

Re: Regarding heat

When it is "heating season", we keep it at 65 in the evening (57 overnight). At this point, the heat does not really click on during the day.
