What do you do when you have a realtor sending you home listings...
but you're looking on the internet yourself and you see a few they're not sending you?
Do you let them know, or do you just inquire about the house on your own?
TIA

I just would write the mls # and ask them to show me the properties.
They are showing you what they think you will like. The house we are buying I looked at online and never inquired about it. The realtor took us to see it anyway and we really loved it. Pictures can be decieving; either for the positive or negative.
Good Luck!

Re: What do you do when you have a realtor sending you home listings...
With my clients it's a 2 way street- I send them properties or they send me ones they want to see
(I am 3 for 3 in the last few weeks with homes I have picked that my clients loved and wrote offers on)
If you want to have a buyers agent- which you should- they work for you to get you the best deal (and the sellers pays them in simple terms)
then you should just send them to the agent if you want to use them
if you call the listing agent- they work for the seller- not you
if you don't like this agent- and don't want to work with them- just tell them and find someone you do want to work with

I would send to the agent. The longer they work with you the better they should be at finding listings that interest you.

exactly
and many times there is a reason why I didn't send it to you
example- you told me you must have 2 baths
and the house you found has 1.5
I would have skipped it- but maybe you see something in it you love
I pretty much forced a client to look at a cape today- she told me from day 1 she did NOT want a cape- but it had everything else she wanted
well- we wrote an offer on a cape today and she was high fiving me telling me thank you for pushing her to see the house- it was everything she wanted and more (and less then she wanted to spend)

Re: What do you do when you have a realtor sending you home listings...
thanks everyone. I have a feeling my realtor's system is automated- she probably puts in search criteria and it comes back every time there's an update. I'm just kind of surprised there are a couple within my price range that haven't shown up.
Thanks!
