How long?
How long after you put down an offer on a house until you heard back? I'm sure it differs by person...curious to hear other's experiences. I am so anxious to hear back!!

The next day. Of course it was the one day I forgot my cell and the realtor was calling me all day long  We then put a counter offer and took them several days to respond back to us

New here. We placed our 1st ever offer on a house yesterday evening and heard back 10 mins later. We counter offered and 2 more times all in the space of 20 mins (8pm) last night and waiting to hear this morning. There are 2 other offers but so far we are # 1.
This is exciting and scary work.

we put the offer on the house on a Sunday morning. By 3pm the next day and a few counters they had accepted our offer.
I dont think most people have it this easy though.

A day or two at first...They counter offered. We went back and forth for like 2 weeks, and then they took another offer :(
But you should hear back within a couple days. If not, ask your REA to get back in touch with them.

the first house we put an offer on came back the next day. the second house (the one we ended up buying) was literally within an hour!
