if you have a gray house
what color is your front door?
the door of our new home is currently white but one of my first projects will be to paint it!
im thinking about either
red
burgandy
or black?

our house is light gray to the point its almost white. we had a white metal door with white trim.... when we moved we painted the trim black, so its black and white now... looks pretty good!
Now we realized the whit shutters just make the house blah and want to make them black, i think that means we have to buy new ones tho

can you remove the shutters and paint them?

they are vinyl.... can you paint vinyl, I didn't you could, but if we can I sure will!
we are not very handy, if we do this should be very interesting

white door......white porch.....white shutters.
I would love either a red or black door but, I think it would look funny against the white porch & shutters.

you can paint vinyl just make sure you get the right paint for them!

My house is half brick (lower half) and half gray siding (upper half). Our door is white, and our shutters are black.
I do like a pop of color with a door, though. I think a deep red always gives some punch and adds to curb appeal.

ours is stained wood, but I have been itching to paint it black for 6 years!
Do I just paint the front side black and leave the part of the door that faces inside stained wood?

Grey house - black shutters.
We used to also have black door but it was just bleh so we painted it a brick red and it's much nicer. Makes it more interesting instead of just 'more of the same.'
