I have two issues with my new kitchen and could use your design expertise please!

Issue 1 - The fridge is off white but all of the other appliances are black. I have a feeliing this is going to drive me nuts but I am renting the place so I don't want to buy a new fridge and the one there works fine so there is no reason for the landlord to buy a new one. Any ideas on how to cover it up to match the other appliances? I was reading on HGTV's website that you can use contact paper (paint it) to cover up cabinets and then just pull off when you leave but I'm not sure what to do about the fridge, if anything?

Issue 2 - Paint for the Kitchen. The cabinets are cream so I don't want the kitchen to look washed out. It's off the living room which will be a neutral color.

I would just leave the fridge as is.

Paint colors... do you like blue or green? what color are the countertops?

We have so much artwork and magnets on our fridge, I've forgotten what the color actually is!

You can just get prints, or any type of photograph, and either use magnets to hold them up, or magnetic photo holders.

It won't get rid of the color, but it will drastically change the look.

I would get magnetic photo frames to "hide" the fridge, hang your calendar on it, etc. If you are renting, I would think you could not put contact paper on it or anything since it belongs to the landlord.
