Steam mop for hardwood floors?
Ok, I dont know if this belongs on this board. I guess I'll find out soon enough if my post gets moved
Any good recommendations for steam mops for hardwood floors (reasonably priced). I would like to give my floors a nice cleaning and add some shine!

I have the shark steam mop & old hard wood floors that are kinda dull. The mop does give it a clean shine and the shine stays until the floor has been walked over ands lived on(few days). Its not a new shine though. Thats what i was looking for. We just bought hardwood floor rejunenator and we are going to try that.

I have the shark also...does a good job, but doesn't really give a shine (my floors are not finished to be high shine) so the only way I was able to get a shine was when I pledged the floor once... Then, after DH and I both went flying on our A%$ a couple of times, I realized that Pledge is not supposed to be used on floors and bought the steam cleaner!

I got the Shark Steam Mop & Vac for Christmas, have very worn hardwoods and I don't feel like it even cleans them, nevermind makes them look shiny.

The steammop cleans them good, but definitley does not make them shine. My cleaning lady uses Bona I think... they look so much better now
