It's white but I would LOVE to paint it red! You can paint it yourself, but need the right tools - ask at HD or a paint store. You need something that won't make streaks or paint brush marks. I would guess painting pads or soft rollers would work. Different rollers/pads are used for different surfaces, so check and GL!

Our front and back doors are Philipsburg Blue (BM HC-159). Our siding is grey.
We painted it ourselves (well, our painter did) and I'm happy with how it came out, but it does get scratched easy which is kind of annoying. Like I had a grapevine wreath up and there are some scratches that I need to touch up.
I've heard that it works out best if you can take it to an auto body shop to have them paint it for you, but we were too lazy to deal with that.

mine is green right now, but i am painting it black this summer.
you can paint it yourself, scratch the door down first and get a good paint for it. ask the paint store and they should be able to rec. something good.

We painted our wood door a deep eggplant purple and we have beige siding - LOVE IT! Also, we used exterior paint and we have a storm door so it holds up better.

I want to paint my black, but it's wood stained and I'm afraid to ruin it.
we are thinking of selling in a year (or trying to) so I want to keep it buyer friendly.
