Girls who can remember the beginning...

I'm about 5 weeks and 4 days, and I was just wondering, did always feel like you had an empty stomach, with cramping, even though you ate?

I haven't seen any blood. I thought I saw like the smallest spot of a light pick dot on my toilet paper when I looked the other day, and I haven't see that since. I know not to get to alarmed if its that small. OBGYN said if the pain feels so bad you can't take it and you see a lot of blood, come in.

I had one blood test taken a week and half ago, should I be going for another to make sure things are moving along?

Thanks. Chat Icon

Re: Girls who can remember the beginning...

In both my stomach and my hips kinda...it feels like period cramps. the stomach ones are hard to pinpoint because I don't know if that's my stomach or my boobs, my stomach feels empty, and i ate 1/2 hour ago a decent size bowl of cereal.

Re: Girls who can remember the beginning...

I had/have period like cramps every now and then. Nothing crazy, but they do make me wonder if everything is ok. I'm only 6 1/2 weeks. My sono is set for next Wednesday.

ETA I also spoke to my Doctor and he said totally normal. The uterus is making room.

I had cramping, similar to period cramps for the first few weeks, then when they stopped I had muscle aches, similar to the feeling you get the day after you have an intense ab workout. (uterus stretching to accommodate the twins)

I am now almost 11 weeks and finally all "symptoms" have subsided. I think its totally normal to have strange cramps, twinges, aches Chat Icon

I thought so, always can depend on LIF to ease my mind a little. :)

I thought it was nothing to worry about, but being that this is the first time I've ever been pregnant, every twinge is questionable. LOL.

I had period-like cramps a lot in the beginning, although they weren't severe. Never had any bleeding with it. I'm 37 weeks now.

I did in the beginning and the dr said it was stretching or ligament pain. I am 31 weeks now and still get period like cramping from time to time.

Re: Girls who can remember the beginning...

I'm glad I came across this message. I just got my BFP Friday, and by my calculations, I'm 4 weeks, 4 days. I just started getting period like cramps about a half hour ago. I didn't have these at all in the beginning with DS. I didn't cramp until about 16 weeks with him.

So I'm ok with cramping and no spotting? Chat Icon

Same here. I totally thought AF was coming for a few weeks.

As far as the empty stomach thing, I could not get food in my mouth fast enough. I was STARVING! I would wake up at 2 am and eat b/c I HAD to eat!
