Help me pick a faucet please

I thought this would be so simple! Who knew there would be so many to chose from?!

Bridge, one handle, two handle, pull down, side spray, polished, brushed, on and on...........

And for some reason we put a bar sink in the island, so now we need 2 faucetsChat Icon
Having a hard time deciding.

We are going for a transitional look, mixing up modern and traditional, so I guess any style would work.

Here are some choices. The third one is a pull out spout.

The finish would be stainless or nickel

Do you like any? Love any? Hate any?

Edited...I changed the first one. I know it's very different. I feel like it would be good for the island, not sure about the main.

Ok here are two more. It would be the first for the main and the 2nd for the bar sink. Let me know if you think it doesn't go.

Re: Help me pick a faucet please

I like #s 3 and 4 in your first post. The ones in the 2nd post seem too industrial looking.

Ok I think they call it transitional. No real defined style.

Not really traditional or contemporary. Can go either way. Though I'm thinking calacatta gold marble backsplash so that would be more classic.

The cabinets are a slight off-white, best described as shaker, very straight lines, dark caesarstone, stainless appliances and hard wood floors.

Probably pewter hardware, maybe apothecary cup pulls.

From reading the style of your kitchen.......I would go w/ #1 or #4.

I like #3 also, but I feel the others would go best on your description.

The pull out ones are the best... once you have once you will never go back. Make sure the faucet his high enough, we just got a new one and could not tell the it would not be high enough until it was installed. $200 later we are stuck with it for now Chat Icon

Re: Help me pick a faucet please

Thanks all! So they all pretty much have matching bar faucets, but what if I did #4 for the main and #1 for the bar?

Do the handles have to be the same?

it would drive me insane if they were different and in the same room....i would get the same styles for both sinks

Re: Help me pick a faucet please

I would get the same faucet or same line for both faucet. I am too OCD for 2 different style faucet. I would get the bigger faucet for the sink and a "mini me" for the island sink if it's a smaller sink.

Re: Help me pick a faucet please

I kinda like the 2nd one, although its definitely more of an old fashioned style, but I really like #4 as well. I really don't think you can go wrong they're all really nice.

Re: Help me pick a faucet please

I'm traditional so I like 2 and 4 in the first post. In brushed stainless/satin nickle/whatever the term is - not chrome.

#2 for the reg sink, #4 for the bar sink

I have #2 for my own sink. LOVE it. It's a Danze, bought on Overstock...

Thanks! I love this one too, but worried about cutting so many holes in the counter...if we ever wanted to change to a single, we would have to put a plate over it. This would also be an issue for the 2nd faucet.

The Danze Opulence does seem so much more reasonably priced than these others and I can get it on Amazon in a day or 2.

Good to know you love it.

How long have you had it?

Re: Help me pick a faucet please

We've had it about two years...

I worried about the holes too but then I was like - screw it. I didn't even know it was an option to put a plate over them if I wanted to switch to a single. Chat Icon So that's good to know.

that is an option, but we went over budget on the stone and I would hate to have too many holes in it.

At least the Opulence comes in the single handle/single hole too, even though I'm loving the bridge right now

Re: Help me pick a faucet please

I want the faucet that you hit with your arm and it goes on and off when your hands are dirty.

Stainless..I think Delta?

It's about $500.
