Painters tape doesn't work
I always seem to get the seepage under the blue painters tape. Any tips? Better brand I should be buying?

Are you taking it off right after you paint? If you leave it on sometimes the seeping occurs.

YES!!! that is the BEST!
We resently painted our bedroom 3 walls of tan on of red and used the Frog tape. Neither color ran into the other one.
Like a PP suggested, make sure its pressed down really well

Re: Painters tape doesn't work
You have to put it on tightly - Also, it's best to still try to be careful and not allow the pait to get too thick by the seam ..........
And take it off either after it's completely dry, or still a bit tacky - NOT wet - And when you pul it off, pull TOWARD the inside tape color (example, if you have it against white molding, and painted blue walls, pull off down and toward the blue)

Re: Painters tape doesn't work
The best tip I ever got was to run the flat end of a spoon/fork over the edge after you finish taping. You have to press down quite hard. Works like a charm!

Re: Painters tape doesn't work
If you need to use tape - buy Frog Tape.
If not you can get an angled brush and do the cutting with that.
If you dont trust the angled brush - You can purchase a little red square that you put a pad on and use that for cutting

Frog tape! I always had problems with seepage with the blue tape, but I used the Frog tape to paint DD's room and it worked awesome.

Re: Painters tape doesn't work
We found Frog tape to be the same as the blue tape - we had bleeding with both. We just decided to live with it.
