When do you plan to ask godparents?
Just curious if you plan to ask the godparents before or after LO is born? If you plan to tell before...how far along do you think is appropriate?

my sister already knows that she'll be the GM, and we already know Shauns brother will be the GF but we wont tell him for a while...

We have ours picked but haven't asked them yet. We plan to do it before but at this point it may turn into after. We'll be asking my brother and DH's brother's wife. My brother probably knows we're going to ask him, not sure about SIL. I'm not really sure how we want to ask them yet, I feel like it should be a little special.

We asked DS godparents when they came to the hospital to visit DS.
We plan on asking the same way this time.

We asked this weekend, I was 34 weeks.
We were going to wait until after, but the godfather we chose has been going through a rough time and we decided to ask him now so he would have something happy to think about. Since we asked the godfather we decided to ask the godmother as well.
