Coffee tables
what's on your coffee table? any decor? or is it empty? mine has a shelf on the bottom and i was thinking of having a small wedding album made 2+ years later  other than that i can't think of anything...right now i have a candle in a hurricane vase in the center...
just curious

Just a candle in the center. Mine doesn't have a shelf underneath, but it has like crossbars and a glass top, so my dog likes to rest her head on the bars and look up at what I'm doing through the glass, especially if I'm eating. lol. So even if it was a shelf, I'd be afraid she'd drool all over my albums. lol!

We got rid of our coffee table for ottomans but when I did have one, I kept the remotes and NYC scenic books on the bottom shelf and the top had a wicker tray with those grassy ballls in it.

our coffee table has a glass top and then a shelf underneath. the glass top is usually empty unless my cats are sitting on it.
the bottom shelf has a shallow decorative bin for our tv remotes, a few photo books we've made, and what I think is a mosaic candleholder dish that we have 4 monogrammed stone coasters resting on.
I've always had coffee tables with a second shelf because I like to have things out but always want the top surface clear

Nothing really, a candle and the remotes. Oh and an ash tray for DH 
We eat dinner at the coffee table since it's just the two of us.

i like the top pretty clear too, so there is room for food/drinks and the remotes...you always see coffee tables staged so nice in magazines but its so impractical...

Mine is a glass top with wood shelf under. I have a gem-type bowl that sits on these sort of iron legs (not too big) underneath with cool potpourri (sp?) in it - a nice one, blue with shells and starfish inside.

I fan our magazines out on the bottom shelf and I usually have at least one candle there as well. Nothing on the top but the tv remote and set of coasters.

the top of the coffee table has coasters and a cluster of candles on a tray
