cleaning lampshades (DUST)

How do you get the dust off the lampshades, ours are plain (no grooves or anything) but white and nothing seems to get it off. I tried the vacuum attachment and nothing!!

Brush attachment on the vacuum works for me, you're using a brush attachment?

i use my hose alone and it does wonders (on the vaccuum) if its stubborn cat hair i have the pet eraser bissel so i use that.

maybe try a lint brush?

ok I'll try again, I would use the hardwood floor attachment that was like a long brush...I think b/c they're white it's constantly looking dusty

I use a lint remover, they are made by 3M.

you know what works PERFECTLY????

THose lint/pet hair rollers with the sticky masking tape sheets you roll over them. Gets every bit of lint/dust off.

A friend of mine swears by the Fly Lady's rubba scrubba to clean her lampshades... She uses the scrubba for everything but she raves about getting the dust off lampshades.

lint remover or swiffer duster but I take them into the other room before so nothing goes on our bed
