Realistically, how long will this ren take?
DH and I have to do some work on the house before we move in. We will be staying with my mom most of the time and MIL's   the rest. Trying to gauge how long it would take a contractor to complete:
A complete bathroom remodel, resheetrock and electric and reframe closets in three bedrooms and refinish all wood floors in entire house ( 3 bedrooms, living room, den, dining room, kitchen and hallways). DH will do all the demo prior to the contractor coming in.
While it is truly very nice of our families to take us in, it is hard to not be in your own home.

We're having almost the exact same stuff done in our house and our contractor is saying 2.5 weeks. We're waiting a month before moving in though, just to be safe.

The bathroom alone is 1 week. Assuming person works on it every day the whole day.
