LIRR eastbound cancellations tonight
Apparently there is an Amtrak train stuck in one of the tunnels and they are anticipating cancellations and delays tonight.
Of course I have an appointment tonight at 7 pm in Holbrook.

Take the 2 or 3 to Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn and take the LIRR from there.

Check your lines, some lines (Port Wash has a lot of cancellations) and some have none (Hempstead)

On the news, they showed the derailed train. It is outside of the tunnels, and according to the reporter, "Amtrak reports that the train is NOT blocking any tunnels. However, the Long Island Railroad advises riders to expect train cancellations and delays."
There seem to be a lot of Babylon line cancellations. Luckily, DH had plans to be out tonight, so hopefully by the time he heads home things will be okay.
