How do you get the smell of puke out of clothes?
DS puked all over me and the sheets a few weeks ago. We rinsed most of the stuff off before we threw it in the wash so most of the clothes are fine. I tried to wear the shirt I was wearing and it still smelled like puke. Forgot to rinse the clothes I was wearing.
How can I get the smell off my clothes?
They look clean, just smell like puke.

DS puked all over our couch, and I tried EVERYTHING and the only thing that helped was the Lysol version of Febreeze.

What kind of detergent are you using?
I find that free and clear detergent will NEVER get the smell out. DS was a big puker as a newborn (and worse, he was puking Alimentum... if you've ever smelled Allimentum, you know how bad it is on it's own) so everything always got drenched in vomit. We stopped using free and clear detergent and used something with a smell. It worked.

We normally use Tide but DH bought laundry detergent last and I think he bought something on sale. It's a blue bottle.

u can add white vinegar in ur wash. i found that helped for me
