Here's my birth story...(pic overload)
My due date was Wed 1/19 & starting 1/17 I kept having small signs of labor. Monday I woke up with bad cramping but as the day went on they stopped. Tuesday evening I had timeable contractions but they were not very strong. Still I thought for sure he was coming because with my 1st when they started she was here the next day.
But not this guy he kept us waiting. Wed 1/19 I was 2-3 cm & when I was rechecked Friday 1/21 I was the same. Thur & Fri I had NO labor signs at all. They said if he didn't come by Monday I would be induced. Well he came !!!!
On Saturday evening I started having contractions that were 10 minutes apart..they continued until 11pm when I decided to shower & go to bed. WELL after showering & getting into bed the contractions pretty much stopped. I was SOOOOO disappointed figuring just like every other night he wasn't coming. I had a few more contractions but they were coming about once every 40 minutes so I wasn't even writing them down. THEN I woke up at 4:15am with a pretty strong contraction. A few seconds later I felt a strong popping sensation (it hurt a little) I thought maybe it was the baby but after about a minute felt a gush & realized my water just broke.  We called the Dr & she said to head to the hospital. We arrived at the hospital around 5:30am. FYI: Put a towel & garbage bag in your car in case your water breaks. Mine kept coming in little gushes. At the hospital they checked me & I was 4cm. I planned on going no drugs like I had with my daughter but after only being there a short time the contractions were coming VERY strong & FAST!!! So I thought if they hurt this bad already it was only going to get worse & I wouldn't be able to get through the whole thing. I asked for an epidural & they went to get the Dr. Well now it was after 7am & I kept telling them I really need the drugs now & when they checked my progress again I was already past 9cm so I couldn't get the epidural. So it wasn't that they were hurting that bad at 4cm it was hurting that bad because I was already at the end. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I asked ARE YOU SURE & started to cry. I was only 4cm an hour & a half ago. But yes indeed I was there so I was now terrified. 
The nurse with me was so wonderful. She kept me calm. Also my DH was doing everything right. When a contraction would come I was tensing my whole body & DH & nurse would help me to stay as relaxed as possible. Breathing really helps !!! It helped me to stare at a lock on a cabinet across the room & just focus on breathing. The nurse said this baby is going to be here before 8am. Sure enough I started pushing & he was here at 7:58am I only pushed a few times (it felt like forever) & my son was born !!!! They placed him on my chest ...DH & I both were wiping him with a warm towel. What an amazing experience !!! 
PS: I got to hear a couple of things that you REALLY Do NOT want to hear when delivering a baby.
(1) 'You cannot get the epidural' - Even though I did fine..In the moment when you really think you can't take anymore you don't need to hear those words.
& (2) While pushing - 'WOW he is a tank'
So now I would like to introduce my son....

(before having him the L&D nurse commented how my belly was so small. I told her my DD was 8lb 15oz & I carried the same way - She said Oh well there is no way this baby will be that big LOL) No he was a LOT bigger

I couldn't believe it either. If they would have told me before hand he was that big I don't know how i would've gotten through it.

omg that is an AWESOME birth story!!!!! And pushing out that 10lb baby without any drugs - you are my hero!!! I get worried about that a little bit because I don't have a huge belly either and people comment on how small she probably is - umm, not necessarily!! I was 8 pounds, DH was almost 10. So who knows!!!
Anyway - congratulations!!!!!! He is BEAUTIFUL
