Cleaning Lady Question...
When she comes to clean what do YOU do? Do you just sit there? help her a little? go to another room? Just curious becuase I want one to come once a month to do a good cleaning and I live in a 2bd Apt. so tis not like I can really escape lol.

The first 2 times she came, I stayed. If she was downstairs, I stayed up. But it did make me feel uncomfortable...oh you just slave away on cleaning my dirt while i sit here and eat bons bons. But i didnt feel comfortable leaving a stranger alone in my house. Honestly it wasn't even material things, I was worried about my dog more than anything else.
I started to trust her pretty quickly and after that I left her alone and now she has a key, nothing better than coming home and everything is clean!

LOL @ the bon bon statement...Thank for replying...this lady has been cleaning my parents house for years so I do trust her but I don't think I can leave her alone in my house.

when I had a cleaning lady I had her come when i was at work (i work 5-6 days a week so I didn't really have a choice). we are starting with one next week... and we will do the same this time!

I do laundry, that way it gets done and I don't feel like I am in the way. So, while she is upstairs, I fold and such. Then when she is downstairs, I go into my office (she doesn't clean that).

Ours usuallly comes while we're at work.
We were home a few times this summer when she came and i realized she has a crew of other ladies she brings with her. They get done with our house sooo fast! During those days, we both were outside doing yard work or we went out and did errands.
Because its more than one person i definitely would not want to be in the house, i'd totally feel like i was checking up on them or in their way
