cleaning tub
Anyone have something that works great to clean the bathtub. When we moved in there was a ring of dirt around the tub and with clorox clean-up and magic eraser I got it off. But it always seems to come back real fast and now I can't get it totally gone and its driving me crazy!!!!! What do you use on your tubs?

Re: cleaning tub
I use soft scrub with a regular sponge to clean the tub.
Does your tub drain properly? I really only get a ring when the drain is clogged and water actually collects in the tub. Once the drain is cleared, the water runs right down the drain.

Re: cleaning tub
Might be the soap you are using in the shower. DH used Irish Spring and it left such a residue behind that he switched soaps.
I use soft scrub and a brush to clean the tub.

the water runs right down the drain. i wonder if its partly because of how much use it gets. 2 showers a day plus the kids baths. I think the stuff from their bath amkes it worse. thanks

Re: cleaning tub
On another thread people were talking about using a pumice stone from Home Depot to get rid of the ring around the toilet bowl - maybe that will work for your tub?
