Looking for a house - suffolk
DH and I are beginning to look at houses. We own a co-op in rvc and are looking in a few towns in our area. Someone recently told us to start looking in Dix Hills. I do not know much about suffolk county growing up in nassau my whole life. I saw one property was in dix hills but Commack school district. is that normal? What are the schools like? I know of other people who went to half hollow hills.

Unfortunately I don't know anything about that area and schools, but I'm in Sachem, in Lake Grove (but Sachem is large and other towns too) and we LOVE it here! Not sure how far out you're willing to go!

I love in Dix Hills/Commack School District. I love where I live and have heard nothing but great things about Commack Schools! I used to work for Half Hollow Hills and that is a good school district as well. Good Luck!
