Re: How do you feel about your November/December/January birthday?
My birthday is in early November and I love that time of year for a birthday. However, it's a killer on DH because our anniversary is October, then my bday then Christmas so it gets quite expensive
When we start TTC we're just going to let it happen. I'm not going to be neurotic about birthdays and let nature take its course.

Obviously, you weren't your parents favorite.

SERIOUSLY.
Maybe that's why they dyed my hair red and referred to me as a stepchild.

Re: How do you feel about your November/December/January birthday?
I'm January 4 and always feel a bit jipped. Everyone is always broke that time of year, so instead of the normal dinner and drinks for someone's bday, I'm lucky if a few people will do drinks. Oh well, what are you gonna do.

My father’s birthday is on 25th December…he always complains that Xmas over shadows his big day and he loses out on an extra gift :)

Re: How do you feel about your November/December/January birthday?
I am a Feb baby. I liked it because it was after the holiday madness in the middle of an otherwise uneventful Jan-Feb-March winter doldrums. I also liked being the eldest in my class. My future dc will be end jan-mid feb. I just wanted a beginning of year baby. I survived winter bdays-so will my dc. We'll do winter bbq's, icekating, themed parties. We'll make it special by making it a little crazy. I'll be sure to make it memorable!

to all of the ladies who think they can 'plan' when they will have their babies.. good luck to ya on that one!
i really think you're over thinking the whole thing as a PP said. You really cannot plan when you will have a baby - its complete luck for most of us. I would not hold off TTC'ing, or take a break from it, in order to try and control what month your child is born in.
I was a November baby.. never even gave it a 2nd thought that it was too close to anything else. I never felt left out of anything.
Well...you actually can plan NOT to have a baby in a certain month, which is what I was asking. And I totally get the women who have been trying for months who are not just going to stop. But for someone like me, who was just starting to think about it, I think it makes sense for me to consider holding off a few months if I find it important. It just depends on preference, but I could see someone starting to think about TTC in January and February, considering starting in March, but then deciding instead to hold off until June. It's all about mindset.
