Thoughts on leather coffee table/ottomans
What do you think of the coffee table/ottomans made of leather? Such as the PB square leather ottoman?
Pros/cons?

I like them-- but for a coffee table, I think they need to be pretty large. They are great for kids too.
We considered getting one for our LR, but just went another direction.

we just got a large leather square ottoman for our living room from Bassett and we love it. we figured it would be easier to clean than fabric and it's soft so our kids wont bang their heads on it. we used it for entertaining on NYE and it was nice to just put food on it as you would a coffee table.

did you use trays? I would imagine you can't rest a glass on it so easily.

yes i used a tray for the food. didn't put glasses on it though. i have end tables so we use those to rest our glasses.

Love the idea of a big, sturdy, leather ottoman that has storage for blankets inside!

We have one from overstock and I like it. The one we have has storage for blankets and the kids' toys.
I was contemplating getting a wood and glass one and am SO glad I didn't now.
Mine has trays on the other side of the top.
Mine is a tad modern for my taste, but the price was right and the kids are eventually going to destroy it anyway.

We have one and mainly purchased it because of the kids. When my DD was very young, she fell off the couch and whacked her head on the corner of our old coffee table/chest. After that, we searched for a leather ottoman with rounded corners & legs to lessen any potential impacts. 
Our ottoman has a large slide out tray that can be placed on top when entertaining, which we do use.
We love it! We use it to put our feet up, our kids and visitors sit on it and we can use it as a table. And best of all...no injuries as of yet!  Cleaning it is a breeze. I just use leather wipes.

we have a big one and it has storage. I love it because it is also easy to clean.

Love them!! we have a small one in our den. very easy to clean and IMO very kid friendly because just like leather seats, they are easy to wipe clean, and they are soft.

We have one. They are kid friendly. We don't have torage in ours, which i just nice to have. Our dd learned how to walk uing it. She could forever cruise around it when she was learning to walk
