Updated w/ decisions 1/11. Help me pick paint colors please!
We're having a painter over tomorrow to check out the house ( ) and I'm trying to decide on trim / ceiling colors. I've always done bright white but I'm over that now, want something warmer.
Was thinking of mayonnaise
Here are the colors I've decided on so far:
Whole first floor (open floor plan) + stairway and hallway on 2nd floor, Hepplewhite Ivory (it's the main color in this room)
DS#1's big boy room (nautical theme)
main wall, Hale Navy (with a thick white/oakridge/spanish red striping)
Other three walls, Oak Ridge (with a thick white/hale navy/spanish red striping)
accent color (thin strip within striping, other pieces in the room), Spanish Red

Also need to decide on our room. Our bedroom is TINY TINY TINY. Thinking of a very pale, modern blue.
Also need to decide on DS#2's room. This is his bedding; any ideas??

Hi Eileen -
Do you think the Mayonaisse will blend too much with the first floor colors? That would be my only concern. I like bright white moldings personally though... I'm no help

Lisa, I think you're right. The painter came today and recommended white dove for that very reason. How are you feeling??

For DS#2, I think tan would look awesome with that bedding. I have BM Crisp Khaki in DS' room and I love it.

Dove white is a great compromise actually. Much softer than the brighter whites, yet still white.
I really want to see a picture of C's room when it's finished - it sounds like it is going to look amazing when it's finished :)
I am feeling great ~ No complaints yet  (but I have 26 weeks to go, so any number of ailments can still show up, LOL.)
Miss you, we need to catch up!!! xoxo

Thanks everyone! Here are the ones we picked - painter is starting Jan 24th All Benjamin Moore. I'll post pics when it's all done.
Foyer, LR/DR, Stairway, Hallway (largely one big open space) + 1/2 bath on first floor:
Hepplewhite Ivory
Nook in LR:
Wilmington Tan
Kitchen, Laundry area (connecting spaces):
Nantucket Gray
"Master" BR:
Summer Shower
DS#1 BR (nautical theme):
main wall - Newburyport Blue
other three walls - Crisp Khaki (thank you Salason )
accent color - Exotic Red
DS#2 BR:
Crisp Khaki (thank you again Salason )
Trim/ceiling throughout:
White Dove
