Jersey Shore Spin-off - Their Parents?!?!?
How do you think all of their parents feel about what their children are now known for, how they portray themselves, etc? I was thinking about that last night when they were showing some of the parents. Do you think they're embarrassed to show theirfaces in public? Happy for their kid's 15 minutes of fame?
Thoughts?

From the looks of it, the parents are supportive for the most part. In the past some parents have even visited if I remember correctly. I think fame fogs most people's lenses...even the parents I guess.

I read an article about snookie's dad and he looks like a biker dude. He said that nothing on the show about his daughter surprises him b/c she tells him everything she does and has does. Her dad said that he was young too and as long as his daughter is safe and honest that's all he can ask of her.
Vinny's mom I think is happy about it too. But Vinny's overall been a pretty nice guy on the show.
Mike, I think his parents are used to his antics by now b/c his behavior seems like nothing new.
Jenni, umm... I dunno. She's a little too dirty imo.
Pauly D. Not too sure. Again, I feel like he hasn't done anything TOO embarassing for a parent.
Ron/Sammi - who knows.

OMG. How can you watch your DD show off her COOCA on tv???? Deena's parents seemed very supportive and that is scary to me! I am sure they had some ideas about what she might do.
Deena said it herself on MTV NYE bash, she wants to make $$ for her parents as her resolution (something like that). Way to allow your DD to pimp herself out like that.

I honestly think that the apple must not fall far from the tree.
This kids were raised by someone who helped make them who they are. It wouldn't surprise me if their parents think this is great and ignore how low their kids will go for infamy.
If I'm wrong, and these "kids" are this way despite their parents efforts, than i feel so bad for the parents.
I would be so ashamed if my kids acted this way.
I know all kids party/rebel etc. But this? It's just shameful and sad. But funny as hell since it is not my kid (I just hope my kids don't get any ideas based on stuff like this).

they were all on good morning america the other day (sent my respect for that show down a few notches!)
and Robin Roberts asked them that.
Pauly D said his parents love the show and watch every episode.
Vinny said in one of the episodes that he brings home girls to his MOMs house and his mom cooks them breakfast the next morning

Agreed... at least if they are anything like their kids.

I just got done watching this special about Katy Perry today as well. I CAN NOT believe she was a gospel singer, I was shocked! Her parents were super strict, they weren't allowed to say "deviled eggs", they were "angel eggs"..
