Closing Costs
How mauch are closing costs? We can't seem to get an accurate answer.

I think it will vary for everyone.. I don't even remember exactly what our was.. I think $15k ish..

About 15k, but that doesn't include the monies that are escrowed, like a year of taxes and home insurance. For us, the out of pocket at close will be close to $24k.

ours was around $12k
the paperwork from the bank is very confusing - I though it was going to be alot higher...
ETA: This is what we had to bring to closing - 12k
we had put our downpayment upfront at contract which was around 9k...

we went in thinking around $15k, but it was somewhere between $11-12k.

If I remember correctly its 3-5% of your mortgage value.

i think ours were about $12K. its also depends on the timing of the tax payments, etc.

I believe this is true as well. Alhtough, I think on average it could be anywhere from 10 - 15k
