A bit early but what is your favorite Valentine Day memory?
Mine was my Mom helping me make old fashioned valentines, complete with lace, that my classmates loved!!!!! In later yrs., I did the same thing with our Daughters. Mary

My first Valentines with my now DH-then boyfriend. We were in highschool, and he got me candy, roses, flowers, ect. He was so sweet. I made him dinner for the first time. I hardly knew how to cook then.

My first Valentines with my now DH-then boyfriend. We were in highschool, and he got me candy, roses, flowers, ect. He was so sweet. I made him dinner for the first time. I hardly knew how to cook then.
Awww, that's sweet!!!! I knew little about cooking. And when I first married, I made enough for an army!!!! I learned then I could NOT bake pies!!!!  Tried it, but the crust was tough!!! Found out later, the more one messes with the crust, it gets tough!!! I made a lot of Hamburger/Tuna Helper too!!!! Mary

my dad always, growing up, bought myself and my sister a box of chocolates, and my mom chocolates plus roses! so that was always a nice thing - he got us cards too.
vinny always does nice things each year - we either go out to dinner or exchange gifts BUT i have to say - the most sentimental thing he did was the year after we got married, he ordered the most gorgeous bo-k of red roses (same as in my wedding bo-k) from our wedding florist who only does events - but he asked him for a favor! that was SO thoughtful and special!!
