THINGS TO NEVER SAY TO A PREGNANT WOMAN
We've all had our share of obnoxious, ignorant, or just plain RUDE comments since becoming pregnant. Please join me in this official list of what NOT to say to a pregnant woman.
I'll start:
- Oh, you're pregnant? I thought I noticed you put on a little weight
- Are you SURE it's a girl/boy?
- Is that normal? Maybe you should ask your doctor
(i hate, hate this one - way to make an already paranoid pregnant woman even MORE paranoid about nomal pregnancy things)
- you must be having a girl 
- Wow, are you sure you're not having twins?
- Oh, you're nervous about birth & labor? Let me tell you all about MY horror story
... i'll probably add more later. What are some of YOUR "favorites"

 I actually made pretty much the same post when I was pregnant with DS. I'm sure it's gonna be worse with my 2nd cuz I'm already big and I'm only 3 months!
Comments from 1st pregnancy:
- You sure you're not having twins? (Grrrrr!)
- Wow, you're huge! (Well I'm pregnant, what's your excuse?)
- You're growing a big baby!
This pregnancy:
- (When I announced this week) Yeah, it was kinda obvious.
- Wow, you're already really showing.

Someone once said to me "Oh your face has calmed down since the last time I saw you"
And now that Im past my due date I cant even tell you how many people have said "Enjoy getting as much sleep as you can now because you wont be getting any once the baby comes" Not like I can sleep now being so fawking uncomfortable!!!

Now, I am very new to this board, but I have already received two comments twice..."should you be eating that?" in reference to a salad with just vinegar, and "You're not eating enough!" Which is something I never thought I'd hear in my life.

My grandmother practically said "Was it planned?" and "It's about time!" in the same breath. Make up your mind!
I got another "Was it planned" from one of my cousins. DH and I have been married 3 and a half years. This isn't 16 and Pregnant!

Boss:"No because you are going to need the extra room to get in your office as you start growing"
Oh and my favorite:
Anyone think Kristen is milking her pregnancy excuse?
(said behind my back the day we started telling people, and only the person who said that line knew...we didnt get a chance to tell the others yet. So he outed me and insulted me all at once!)

Yesterday at work.. I'm walking my students down the hallway.. and there are probably 20 other adults in the hall. This one lady yells out to me "ARE YOU PREGNANT.. YOU REALLY LOOK PREGNANT" I was floored and I said "I've just been hitting the hershey kisses pretty hard" and then she said "NO NO NO You look pregnant" and I said "Oh yea, it's sextuplets.. definitely" and I just walked away.. then later throughout the day about 7 people came up to me and said .. oh just ignore her.. but WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!

i went to the diner the other day with DH and the waitress looked at me and said "congratulations! IT's a boy, right?" ( first of all, why would she even assume that) and I said, "no it's actually a girl." She says "WELL MAYBE NEXT TIME." ***????????? That was so rude

-any wives tale pretty much (most regarding girls). They only make people feel bad. They are not fun nor are they cute. They are actually hurtful. Plus they are complete BS anyway.
-Your face has changed. Regardless of how it is meant it sounds hurtful. It's like thanks for pointing out I'm getting uglier
- Anything regarding how big or heavy you got- "wow your face got heavy. Wow you look big for 6 months", etc. Number one it's not regular weight gain. It's not fat weight, It's pregnancy stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- You really shouldn't be going to the gym. Please as long as the doctor says it's ok, exercise is not only safe but very very good for you and the baby.
- Your supposed to be eating for 2. UM NO. I don't consider eating an additional 300 calories as eating for two.
- Your nose spread you must be having a girl. I mean come on?!?!? How is that supposed to make someone feel?!
