we got our entertainment system from there, and we love it. It holds everything we need, is really nice, and has held up under our very active cats who love high places lol
When we were looking, it was the most reasonable we found, dunno how it will be in a move though, havent tried it

we furnished practically our whole house with furniture from bobs for around 10k, its unbelievable what you can get for the price and so far everything is holding up well. we did have a few pieces damaged upon delivery but they replaced them a few days later.

We got Teddys bedroom furniture from there, it's decent, but their Protection plan is horrific. We also got our couches from there, they are recliner couches (when we buy a house these will be hidden in the play room.) They are sagging, the handles broke three weeks in, we called for them to come, they came the guy spent an hour complaining that we pull on them to hard before I told him to get the fluck out of my house. Called back, sent different guy, said we were pulling to hard again, and I told him we paid almost 3 grand for this set I didn't care what "their reasoning was" I wanted it fixed. He flipped it over and says "Oh it's so flimsy "

DH and I furnished our entire apartment with their furniture and for a decent price. The furniture looks great and has been holding up well with our two cats.

dont buy a couch from there...our cushion has sunk in so bad we cant sit on it, still waiting for a call to have repaired (thats if they do repair it)
same thing happened to my ILs couch and they refused to fix it and they bought the "goof proof plan"

If you are looking for decent inexpensive furniture then Bob's is great and IMO better than Ikea. The furniture is not top of the line so if that's what you are looking for then I do not suggest you go there.
We have two couches, mattress, fireplace and a dining room set from there. We love everything we have purchased and have not had any problems.
We didn't want to spend a ton of money on furniture since we are just starting our family and know that it will get somewhat ruined.
It's worth checking out.

I'm not happy with the sofa we bought. The frame seems out of whack and the cushions have sunk in really low.

I have a couch, chair and ottoman from Bobs.
I consider it "disposable" furniture.. we got it while the kids are small- it wasn't $$ and we won't feel bad about getting rid of it when they grow up and we want something nicer that won't get trashed..

We have a couch and a chair from them...the couch is falling apart, the cushions sink in and the frame is broken...we haven't even had them a year and a half

We bought our dining room table there, we LOVE it. We saw the SAME exact table at 3 other stores for $400-$500 more!

i love my living room set from Bobs, including couch, chair, love seat, 2 end tables and coffee table.
i love the look of our bedroom set, but the quality of the drawers is not that great. we've gotten a few nicks on them easier than probably on another company's furniture.

See IMO I would say the opposite. I would put IKEA furniture way at the bottom. It all looks so cheap. Bobs is decent. Our leather couches are about 3 years old, have two dogs jumping on and off all day long and don't have any problems. Is it forever furniture? No. But I think it's very good considering their prices.

some pieces are crap to start out with and others are decent. somethings are really good like their leather stuff
it all depends on what you buy
I have a brand new sofa in my living room that has never been used
I moved it 6 inches forward and the leg broke

I've had my couch from Bob's for 6 months and the cushions have sunk in so much that it kills our backs to sit on it.
The mattress I bought from them is fine.

I think it depends on the item you want to buy. I know two couples who have had major problems with their couches. We have an entertainment center and absolutely no complaints.

ITA - we have a dining room set & bedroom set from them. The wood is very soft, so it shows every scratch or knick. It probably wouldn't bother me as much if I had gotten lighter furniture - but it's all cherry colored. I buoght the protection plan and had them come look at the dents & knicks a few months after we got the furniture. I was complaining about the stuff to the guy about the furniture and he said "It's called Bob's DISCOUNT furniture for a reason"...and he's right.
