It was around 4 months. Only because he outgrew it by height (the shoulder straps were on the heighest setting). If you could hold out a bit longer, I personally would. If he doesn't like it because he is uncomfortable however, I would switch now

My DD is 10 months and we still haven't switched, but she is a peanut. It depends on the person. Technically, you can use the convertible carseat from the get-go

josh was 7 mos

jessie is 10 mos and still in it. i still lug it around and throw it in shopping carts. When I get josh a booster, she will get his convertible

DD1 was in it till 15 months...she was just always slow with putting on weight...obviously she didnt get that from me

Dont think i'll make it even close to a year with DD2...she does take after me lol

we switched DD1 at 9 months. with DD2 I'm waiting until she doesn't nap in it every time. I can't be waking her to take her out of the seat all the time and I can't wait for her nap to be over to go out (sometimes her morning nap and the trip to nursery school happen at the same time). I like the bundle me option too. It's so warm!

We switched around 6/7 mo. She was breaking my back!!
