Shark steam mop peeps..
Do you use it on your hardwood floors. My whole house is original hardwood. I love them, but finding my swiffer is leaving a film on them. Dh bought me a shark for xmas. Will that screw up my snazzy floors? Some reviews i have read said it streaks the hardwood. True?

I use it on my hardwood floors and I've never had a problem. DH installs hardwood floors for a living and he loooooves the Shark steam mop. He actually uses it more than I do!

I wouldn't.
I have Pergo, and I stil wouldn't.
My floor guy said never to use anything on wood floors or laminate except for something like Bruce flooring cleaner (which is like a special thing made just for wood floors/laminate)
I wouldn't risk it, but that's just me.
There are specialized cleaners meant specifically for wood that would be better for the longevity of the wood.
I'm a bit sick when it comes to hardwood flooring or laminate, so I may be overly cautious.

Umm, is this the gift that you both would enjoy?? I hope not.
I use the steam mop on my hard wood floors, but I also go over them after with a floor polisher too. It's a lot of work, but if I don't, I think the wood looks really dull.

I use it on mine and have no issues.
I've never had a problem on my hardwood floors.
I have pergo in my kitchen and what we were told was never let it sit for more than a few seconds, I guess that affects the glue and whatnot.
