* LG front loader washer and gas dryer
Anyone have this set? We want to get one this weekend! Any advice? Pros? Cons?

We have the washer and electric dryer and we love them. We've only had them a couple of weeks, but our towels are fluffier and our clothes feel and fit better.

I have a LG front loading washer and I hate it. The washer does not spin all the water out and the machine cuts off.

Did you buy the LG machines?
I got an LG front loader steam washer and dryer (electric) and I LOVE them!!! I know DH researched them well since it was a pricey mother's day gift.
The washer is fantastic. Some cycles, the clothes comes out practically dry! I like all the different washing cycle options and how you can customize them. I cannot say enough good things. The dryer is good too. It does the job. I used the steam function on it 2 weeks ago and was impressed.

I have the 2301 set I believe. Our dryer is electric though. We've been happy with them. It's going on 2 yrs and they are still working great. There are some cycles where the washer spins so well my dryer is only on for 20 mins or so. I saw a drop in my electric & water bill 3 months after installing them....

I am considering this set (along with the Maytag and Whirlpool) for my second floor laundry.
Does anyone have these installed in the second floor? Does it shake the house?
I am avoiding a front loading washer for the second floor because I know that will shake like crazy. I am hoping a top loader won't be as bad.
