Front doors with the glass..
I have a front door similar to this.
I love it. In front of it, we have a clear glass storm door.
But I am finding that I can't really walk around in my usual attire when I am at home, for fear of people being able to see inside.
I never gave it much thought until my DH came home from Costco and saw me in my short shorts mopping the foyer.
Now, I don't like it...I don't like that someone can see DS playing inside, either (he plays in foyer a lot)
Is there any solution?

Put a sheer curtain on your side. It will help and not block any light thwt comes in. I have a door like that too, our glass is oval. The glass is i dont know the term, but whn you look in, you can see, but not see well. You have to arch your head all funky to get a clear shot.

hmm i don't know how it would look but could you try frosted paper/film?
something like this click
again, i don't know how it would look if you have a design in your glass door, but it could work!
oh and when we were looking for a new front door that was DH's concern too, he didn't want anyone to see him walking around in his boxers

I bought one of these and LOVE it- It's a magnetic curtain rod-not sure if your front door is metal though.

We used a spray (from lowes or home depot) to cloud up some of our windows for privacy.

We put a frosted film you can't see a thing...my Dad was shocked at my brilliance..I of course didn't tell him I got it from this board

Yes. I covered all clear glass parts (on the inside) with frosted contact paper. Works perfectly.

We used the spray. DH taped it up with blue painters tape so the spray wasn't on areas it shouldn't be.
What was good about the spray is that you can wipe off the frosting if you wanted with a good scrubbing. So the option is there to revert the glass back to the orginal form.
