Seeking the Perfect Color - Help Please
I've been on here and posted before about my annoyance over my bedroom color. I initially picked out a great deep navy bedroom color that I LOVED LOVED LOVED!! My cousin, who is a professional painter and painting my house, advised me that it was too dark and he refused to paint the room that color and talked me into a lighter BM Phillipsburg Blue.
I hate it.  It's like a royal blue color and just awful to me. The color itself is nice but I can't match anything to it.
Can anyone please recommend any paint colors that are a pretty mix of grey/blue/purple - almost like a slate color? I have 2 beautiful bedding sets that are completely different and I think that mix of colors would work (1 set is white with blue branches on it and the other is a sage green with pink).
If you have any suggestions for alternate colors, i'm all ears. However, if you know of a good "grey/blue/purple - slate" color, I would be forever grateful!!

Just want to add, I have looked at color swatches and online at BM but most colors come out different on a wall. I didn't want anyone to think that i'm just being lazy haha. Thanks again!!

I am painting my bedroom a grey blue and I think it's called marina grey (bm). My neighbor has my swatches so I don't remember the exact color name.

It was pretty dark in person...I wanted to use it in my bathroom but it was darker than I expected

try bm brewster gray. its our bedroom color. we also have nantucket fog in our house and brewster gray is much darker and more like gray with a hint of blue.

Have both in our house (adagio in MBR and smokey taupe in foyer) and love both colors.

OMG...perfect color...BM Polaris Blue.
I had it in my dining room. It is more purple and slate than navy, kwim?
But I dont see it going well with sage green/pink bedding. JBO

You mentioned that you can't "match" anythign to it? What do you mean by that? Do you hate the color itself or the fact that nothing you like goes with it?

Hi, here it is. It's a very pretty blue color but i'm just having a hard time matching things to it. I got the curtains on a whim but i'll be replacing them, just don't want to do anything until i'm set on a color.
I really tried to make it work. I got the quilt in the pic from PB to see if I could get a good scheme going but I just don't love it.
I want more of a purpley/grey/slate blue. Not a light color, something dark like a dark sky night almost? I'm a PIA, I know. Thank you for your help everyone xoxoxo

I like the color a lot. What color is your furniture? It's hard to tell from pic.
I say get different curtains. More of a tan color if the furniture is brown...
ETA or green curtains like the darker green in the comforter.
