I am happy where we live-- I'd just want to do other things to the house, or wish we were able to buy a house with EVERYTHING we wanted..
I would however like to have multiple vacation homes.

Is that the Frick estate? Dh's boss lives in Alpine, he's so relived Oprah's not moving in, he figured her fans would be all over the place.

OMG, be careful b/c I will seriously take you up on that offer It is literally the most beautiful place I have ever been in my life. When I was explaining it to DH, I said "Close your eyes and imagine Heaven on earth."
I cant wait to go there for our 5 yr anny...in 4 yrs & 7 months 
Also, DH's dream is that when he retires, we start our own vineyard!

MrsJG--I went to Taormina in college and for six yrs DH had to listen to me rave about we finally went together this summer and he fell in love also! Your DH will love it to Im sure

No, although I believe that is still for sale. This is the home the buyer of the whole Frick estate (60 acres) built on the divided property.

I've only seen a few photos of the place on Realtor.com and other real estate websites, but I can get an idea of what the rest of the "house" looks like!

a BART ride from san francisco
