Anyone have one of those Pottery Barn chairs?

I was thinking of getting one for DD (almost 14 mos) but wasn't sure which one to get. They have two sizes - the "My First" chair and the "Anywhere" chair. I'm just wondering if she's going to grow out of the smaller one quickly and should maybe get the bigger instead Chat Icon

Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

DD is almost 11 months. We just got the Anywhere chair. Its very big- I can sit in it!!. I guess she will grow into it but right now she just climbs it, jumps and dives face first onto the carpet! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Here she is.

Re: Anyone have one of those Pottery Barn chairs?

My "first" chair is a great size for a child under 2 and it doesn't take up nearly as much space as the anywhere chair. The anywhere chair is huge! I really didn't want it because it takes up a lot of space, but my parents ordered it for DS for christmas. It is a really nice chair though and your DD will be able to use it for a very long time. It's so big that even I can sit in it!

Each of my boys got an Anywhere chair for their 1st birthdays. Now that they are 2 and 4, they really use them to sit and read. I think they are a great investment and something they will use for most of their childhood.

Thanks.

I'm thinking I should just go w/the bigger one. The smaller one would probably be great for now but I just don't want to have to get a bigger one too soon either. The last thing I need is TWO mini armchairs in my already cluttered LR Chat Icon

My parents bought ds the first one. I put it together and it is a nice size. I think it is good for a few years im sure after that he will not want to use it anymore

DS got a First Chair when he was 1 and he still sits in it everyday. I'm upgrading him to give the little one to his sister and I'm actually afraid he's going to be mad Chat Icon Its great bc it takes less space!

Re: Anyone have one of those Pottery Barn chairs?

I debated on the same thing. I went with the smaller one b/c I felt it would be better suited to her little body, and back support. She is 2 now and starting to outgrow it. I will be buying the larger one soon. She loves it so much for watching tv, reading, eating,e tc. But I don't regret buying the smaller one. My dogs love to squeeze into it and sleep in it too. Chat Icon Chat Icon In fact, my 2 dogs and my one DD fight over it. So when DD grows out of it for good, it's a nice looking dog bed.Chat Icon

I bought it when DD was your DDs age also. If you want to save $ buy the larger one. If you want her to fit best, buy the smaller one.

We have 3 and all my sons use them every single day.....we have the smaller ones and my 2 year old still sit very comfortably. I didn't want the big ones taking up a lot of room.
