Bob's Furniture (sofas)

I've heard & read conflicting opinions on sofas from Bob's furniture.. has anyone here purchased a sofa from them? How do you feel about it, any issues?

There's a set I like, but I've heard the seat cushions go flat pretty quickly. And the back cushions are fixed and couldn't be flipped, not sure if I like that.

Any feedback?

DH and I bought a set from there about a year ago and love it. We have no complaints but I also have the option to flip the cushions and do it every so often. I am the type of person who gets sick of things in my house easily so I didn't want to spend a ton of money on furniture just to want to get rid of it in like 5 years. I figured I wouldn't feel bad getting rid of it if I didn't pay a lot. I like the way the set has held up so far and I purchased it full well knowing that it probably wouldn't hold up for more than 5 years. I would say go for it, I'd rather pay like 1K for a set and be able to get a new set in a few years than spend like 4K and have to keep it.

We bought our small sleeper sofa there 4 years ago and it still is comfy, the bottom cushions are still firm and the bed still pulls out well. The back cushions on ours are removable pillows and they have taken a lot of abuse so they're a bit deflated but easy to fluff up.

Not bad for $500, IMO

We have two sets - one in our formal living room that barely gets used and then our den couch which we've had over 2 years that is still super comfy.

ETS: DH's cousins had a set that they got replaced because their cushions deflated so bad and you actually sank into the couch. Their couch wasn't even a year old.

Im one of the people w/a bad experience. I mean the price is super cheap and it is not long term furniture.

My set is 2 years old and the cushions you sit on are super flat!! Also, the microfiber material is really cheap and started to get frayed looking so I went out to BBB and got one of those couch covers.

we got a sleeper sofa for our guest room. My parents stayed on it when they visited and no complaints. Now that we moved and have more rooms it's in our office. Still looks nice. We wanted something nice and inexpensive. So far no issues and it's been about 3 years

Went to Bobs and was NOT impressed. Some of there sofas look nice but don't seem to be great quality. I also like to spend a little more but purchase something that I know I'm not going to have to replace in a few years. Most sofas get a lot of usage so imo it is the type of furniture that needs to be heavy duty good quality. If is is for an office or something like that tht is a different story.
I just went to Bobs when looking for a sofa for my den and ended up finding a very $$$ Italian leather sofa at a great price at the raymour and flanigan clearance center next door to Bobs. Def try at the clearance centers

i have a couch, love seat and chair from bobs and i love them! they are so comfortable! the only reason that 1 of the couch cushions is a little flatter than the rest is because DH is on it EVERY night and he falls asleep on the couch every night. if he didn't sleep there it wouldn't be as bad! i asked him to lay the other way, but he doesn't listen! otherwise, i love them

we got practically our whole house furnished by bobs, so far we like everything and no complaints

We are not happy with the sofa we purchased from Bob's. The quality isn't great and it just looks so much more worn than it actually is.

I have a Bobs Sectional and one of the cushions is indented because the wood board broke, happened when I was 9mos pregnant and my heaviest weight lol so not sure if that caused it but still I will never get a bobs sofa again...I bought the goof-proof and had to mail in a complaint so lets see what they say. Had the sofa for 2.5 years.

I think with any brand it really depends on the the actual style. there is a great potterybarn sofa that I love but the cushions lose shape quick. I thought I bought one that wouldn't do that from Jennifer convertible, but it did the same thing

I have a great set from Bob's that this hasn't happened to and it was a lot less $$ then the jennifer sectional I have.

Our living room set is from there....I hate it. The chair and a half is comfy but the couch's frame stick outs in between the cushions and pokes you in the back...and the middle cushion sinks into the couch when you sit on it.

It looks nice but its not comfortable...

I have a sleeper sofa from Bobs. I am happy with it overall and the things I am not happy with are totally my fault in choosing something I didn't realize wasn't going to work with our animals. It has removable back cushions and, if I had it to do over again, I would get one with non removable because our animals like to sleep on top of the couch and the cushions are now smooshed and I can't really get them back into shape. Other than that it's great.
