Re: 1st Timer question???
I started to pop around 17 weeks..
As for movement, it took me a long time to realize that it wasn't gas I was feeling So I think I started feeling movement around 19-20 weeks..but it was so soft and subtle I didn't notice it too much. I had a giant karate kick around 22 weeks....and then DS was pretty quiet. For me, I didn't start feeling consistent movement till 25-26 weeks.
Even still, my LO is a calm little guy. My OB said some babies are just more active than others..and that he'll probably be a great sleeper
Everyone is different and feels movement at different times and intensities...For so long I would read these boards and literally freak out that my baby wasn't moving like some of the others.

Re: 1st Timer question???
I'm 19 weeks and I still haven't popped which is a sore subject in my house. I have a little bump, but it disappears when I put clothes on.
I asked my doctor about movement the last time around and he told be between 18-22 weeks for most first timers. Obviously, give or take in either direction I think some people feel the baby move before 18 weeks. I still don't think I've felt the baby, but I have an anterior placenta so that could be why.

Re: 1st Timer question???
I think I started to really look pregnant around 18 weeks with my first pregnancy. I first felt the baby move at 21 weeks which I think is later than alot of women. I had an anterior placenta which made it harder to feel movement.

Re: 1st Timer question???
I feel the exact same way when I was around 14wks. I had to go buy maternity pants (jeans) and I had to wear sweat pants cuz nothing fits.
I started to feel DD move around 20wks.

Re: 1st Timer question???
I am 19 weeks and I notice a bump and feel fat all the time, but EVERYONE says "wow you are already 19 weeks and you're not even showing!" That just makes me feel fat!
As far as movement goes - I feel a flutter now and then but I am not sure if it's the baby or gas. I am hoping I pop a little more before xmas so I look preggers and not just fat!
