Has anyone had curtains hemmed?
Is it like jeans, and they never really look the same?
I needed longer than 84, but shorter than 96. I have the 96 and it's really just a bit too long. The curtains are lined, so it would be a double hem.

I had the same issue for curtains for my slider. I used heat bond tape and "hemmed" them myself using the iron . It's SO easy. The you press a sharp crease in the new bottom and they hang perfectly. I've done it with a few pairs of curtains, seriously it's so simple.

i brought it to the guy that hems my clothes. i think he charged me $8 a panel

I went to 2 dry cleaners, first one quoted me $25 per panel, another one $10. It's worth it to shop around.

I had the same problem with mine. I got them hemmed at the place where I bought the curtains -- a curtain store only. They were a bit pricey, but you'd never know they had been altered.
