Atlantic City?

Can anyone recommend a nice hotel, casino, etc..?

I've never been there as an adult. I don't really know much about it.

Re: Atlantic City?

When are you going? I like being on the boardwalk so I can enjoy that aspect of AC too. We stay at Caesar's a lot...great location (attached to the pier mall which has high-end shops and tons of restaurants), Tropicana is huge and has a bunch of restaurants in it, off the boardwalk we like Harrah's and the Borgata (on the Marina).

It depends on what you like. If you want to do the Boardwalk, Caesars or Tropicana are nice. Tropicana has The Quarter which has shops, restaurants, bars.

Taj is outdated and as far as i'm concerned their ventilation system on the floor is old and lacking, as the smoke is overpowering; whereas in newer casinos I find it much less smoky.

If you aren't into the Boardwalk (dh and I have been there, done that and are tired of the panhandlers) then the Borgata or Harrah's is great. Upscale casino/hotels, great club/bar scene and people watching.

I always stay at the Borgata. GORGEOUS. It's not on the strip, but a short car ride/ shuttle ride away.

I haven't stayed on the boardwalk in years, since it opened we've stayed at the Borgota.
We're staying in the newer Water Club at the Borgota this weekend, celebrating my birthday.

Borgota is gorgeous. Last time, we stayed at Harrahs and will never do so again. The service was awful, but I could get over that. What I couldn't get over was that the place was dirty. Chat Icon The room, the halls, the pool.

I posted on here that we stayed at Borgata for the 4th of July and the pool was filthy. We still Chat Icon Chat Icon the Borgata, but it was brimming with kids that weekend so that may be why. Haven't been to the pool since so i'd be curious if anyone goes to report back on how the pool is now.

Borgata or Tropicana.

I like these two also. I know that that the Tropicana offers some good specials if you stay over on a Sunday night. Do a google search.

This is where we stay too. I love the shops and the spa and their restaurants are awesome. I haven't been to FIN, we'll have to try that next time!

I love AC - especially hitting the outlets on our way home Chat Icon

I didn't go to the spa this time because we were with friends and I also happened to catch a cold.
I've been before and it is great. I usually just get a swedish massage. Prices are $ but worth it.

If you want to stay on the Boardwalk- Ceaser's.

Re: Atlantic City?

When we stay at a hotel we usually stay at Balleys or Ceasars because that is where we like to play. We like our options and promos, plus its kind of in the center of the boardwalk.
