Some painters charge by the day, some by the work. I would think for all that a couple thousand dollars.

I definitely paid $550/bedroom. I think I paid $1500 or $2,000 for living room, dining room, hallway, entryway area.

We are in the process of getting estimates for the entire new house interior to be painted and the quotes have been 8800-12,500.
Have to tell the above posters, $5,000 is way off if the house is 4 bedrooms, trade up home. Also note, a one man show would take forever to paint an entire home. So time is money too.
I had my first house painted 7 years ago and it was over $7,000. And it was only 1650 sq ft.

My 8800 quote was not with the paint, forgot to add. My other 2 quotes were (10,500 and 12,500) and were paint included.

we are having our entire first floor painted (LR, DR, 2 BR, hall, foyer, stairs) for $3800. this includes all prep work (a few of the walls are in terrible shape), ceilings, mouldings, but does NOT include paint.

I paid $5900 with BM Natura paint. The price was originally closer to $5k when it was the regs BM.
