what size property do you have?
just wondering
my DH really wants .25 or larger, but we both really love a house that is on .18

I was set on getting .25 or more and we ended up finding the perfect house (for us) on a .20 lot. The way the house is situated on the lot gives us a pretty spacious yard.. VERY happy with it. 
ETA: How is the house situated on the lot? ie: if it's a corner or if it's set back from the road, your backyard will be smaller vs. if it's closer to road, the backyard would be bigger, etc.

the back yard is small, but it has a large side yard, it is not on a corner, I guess it is just the way the house is situated, I feel like it is a great house for our price range it has 2 new bathrooms, new appliances in the kitchen and new washer and dryer. but the yard is small but very private, my DH says that he would like to get a pool one day, but I think the yard is to small for a pool.

we have .25 yard with a pool and i think it is small
our yard is bigger on one side of the house- but small behind - our pool is to the side but has been there for 30 years
important thing to think about if you want a pool in side yard- some towns requires vaieances for pools in side yards which requires more work then just a permit, also some deeds prevent fences from being in front of the house line - just some questions to ask

Our first house was between .25 and 0.3. I personally wouldn't want any smaller than that.

100x100, our house is large but we still have a pretty large backyard because of the way the house is situated. We also have neighbors that are seasonal and noe of their houses line up with ours so it never feels like the neighbors can see in your windows.
we are house shopping now and we want a half acre or more.

Going from .12 to one acre. LOVE it. We have been wanting a large property for a long long time.
The least we were looking at was .33 but the larger the better.

...but property shrinkage has set in. It's also the way our home is situated on our property. We have approx. .5 in the front and .5 in the back, but I wish our yard was laid out so that we had more of the property in the backyard.
