my DS has a sitter -
last year he had only been there for less than 2 mos and I gave her soft flannel PJs, an ornament, a candle, and cash- a little more than a 1 day's pay.
She deserves more.

going based on what I gave DS's teachers last year.
Main teacher - $50 and a pair of slipper socks
assist - $35 and slipper socks
floaters - brought in a tray of cookies
Director - holiday plate
owner - ornament

Thanks!
He has two main teachers (I don't really know them, met one Fri at the Halloween party for the first time).
He goes 2-3 days a week, depending on the month, but, he's there from 7am-6:30pm when he's there.
He gets dropped off from 7am-8am with the infant room teacher (who he loves).
Then from 8am-4pm, it's his regular teachers.
Then from 4pm-7pm, he's with a floater or this other woman, who he's been with from the infant room, that he loves.
ETA - Slipper socks are a great idea since they can't wear shoes in there!!!

Each teacher $50 per kid.
Floaters $25 per kid
They get the same amount at the end of the year

I"m hijacking this thread for a minute....
DS started daycare in Sept with one set of teachers/floaters but as of last week, he's in a new room with new teachers/floaters.
Should I give to BOTH teachers/floaters or just for his new, current one? I'm new to all this!!!! Any/all advice on this one is welcome!
