Stair upgrade on a budget pics
We rent... but we hated soo many things about the house. Everyone said, even tho you are tempted, do not do alot of work on the house, since it is not yours. Well, we decided to do tings cheap, so that way we were still comfortable with it. So far, we did the entire basemetn to actually be a living space, but's it's still not fully done, so pics will come soon.
This has been 2 years in the making so far... but we wait for sales, coupons, and anything else. The paint was offered to us for free from my inlaws, and the paneling we got for $5 each, thanks to sales LOL, normally they are $10 each.
So, here's the first before and after pics I can post of the stairs down to the basement. What a difference!!
That huge hole on the right hand side is the crawlspace... DH is in the process of making a door that matches the paneling... should be done next week... we'll see OL. So that will be closed in as well.
Also, don't mind the dust... DH had yet to vacuum when this pic was taken LOL
All this was done for under $80!! Next up will be the completed pics of the entire basement. We did everything from floors, to walls, to ceilings... and also waaay cheap!!
Don't mind the dirt and dust and tools on this one, but at least you can see we enclosed the stairs here LOL
