I HOPE FOX is back tomorrow!!!
I love Glee, I love Rocky Horror, put them together, a dream come true BUT I won't get to watch tomorrow night unless FOX is back on Cablevision...GRRR. I had to get it out there. I love Glee and it won't be the same watching an hour later online
***Please no "I hate Cablevision responses". As somebody who works in the industry and fully understands both sides and works with markets where this happens all the time, I support Cablevision.

I know, I'm going to miss Glee and my new favorite show Raising Hope. It is a Halloween special too!! I'm so upset. I can't even watch it online, since they blocked Cablevision users on HULU.

it won't be.
I was at my mom's yesterday and she has Verizon. Fox is actually airing commericals telling Cablevision customers to
1) return your box to Cablevision and cancel your account
2) sign up for Verizon or Direct TV
3) enjoy Fox 5 and My 9
I think this has taken a turn for the d0uche and we won't see Fox 5 back for a long, long time.
2 huge money powerhouses and they won't back down.
I'm going to my mom's tomorrow night lol.

I don't think we'll be seeing to back for a long time.
I set up the DVR at my parents house yesterday to record it so we can watch over the weekend. They have fios.

We have Comcast. No drama. No fuss. No threat of dropping Fox, ABC, etc....
I hope Cablevision comes to an agreement soon!

You can watch the full espisode of glee on the fox website .. I think its available a day later.

i dont think it will be available the next day. I tried to watch house saturday night from last week and apprently the latest episodes are not available till 8 days after the original air date!! which totally blows! everyother station makes it available right away!

this is not true i have optium and i am able to access the site to watch programs.
i was also able to get on hulu

I just called my property manager and she said The Town Of Brookhaven has a contract with Cablevision & can't get Verizon until their contract expires with Cablevision

I have had no problem going onto Hulu and watching Fox shows.
ETA: I just checked Fox.com and can see shows on there too.
Before anyone assumes the IP address thing is blocked -- you should just check on your own.
Glee is always available on Hulu.com the very next day.

yes they can, Viacom did the same thing when fighting with Time Warner
Also, you can't get ESPN3.com unless your provider pays ESPN for the content
Net neutrality is concept that has been passed around, it is not a law and probably never will be because it doesn't make business sense.

Initially Cablevision blocked it, but Fox petitioned the FCC and they ruled that Cablevision had to allow it, so you can watch on HULU.

I have Optimum online and have no problems watching Fox programming on Hulu or Fox's web site. Fox is part owner of Hulu, so content on Fox.com is posted at the same time as it goes on Hulu. (You won't have access to one earlier than the other.)
The show's producers decide when content can be available online, but generally, Glee is available the day after it airs.

me too
we had been able to watch the NLCS games by getting the feed online, then hooking the laptop up to the tv and watching it there
but it's not the best way to do it, and sporadically cuts out on us
I'd rather not miss the World Series either!

Yes, I just saw this - that it was only temporary. But I think that it was Fox that blocked the programming, not Cablevision.
