Moving and holiday question

We are probably closing on our new home at the end of November/early december. Would it be completely cheesy of us to send our holiday cards out very early - like before TG as a "Seasons Greetings" and "here is our new address". Not even sure I can get professional pics done of the kids in early November, but I can always take them myself and order on shutterfly I'm thinking.

For one... who is going to have time or forethought to deal with x-mas cards in the midst of the move and second, I wonder if we may get a lot of holiday cards sent to our old house. We are going to forward our mail, but who knows. Such a bizaare time of year to do all of this.

I would not send out holiday cards before Thanksgiving. You could get them all ready to go and mail them after Thanksgiving.

i would get them ready and then mail them right after.
Honestly, we closed on our home 11/20 and moved 3 weeks later, I decided that everyone would have to realize we were crazed and we did not send cards that year. There was just so much going on.. and everyone did seem to understand!

We are probably going to move right before Christmas - I already had them printed - a combo xmas card and moving announcement, but I will wait and then mail them right before the holidays.
