Flat Screen above Fireplace
If you have a TV above the fireplace, where do you keep the cable box, dvd, etc?

See how my fireplace has a little set back wall on each side -- since we have moved in we made that entire wall a darker color (accent wall), hung the TV above the fireplace, and put two shelves on both walls for pic frames and decorative stuff. Then, we have a little end table / cabinet on the left side (if you are looking AT the fireplace) in that little area so it doesn't take up any space. It has the linksys thing and the wires and all that crap inside with the wires snaked through a small hole drilled into the bottom then snaked underneat the moulding and in through the wall. We had an electrician install a plug (all to code) behind the TV as well as the cable. So, you don't see a single wire - everything goes into that little end table cabinet thing and the box sits on top and the little DVD player on top of that. Then we have our phone on the table as well and a pic frame. That's it! It's very simple looking. I REALLY need to take updated pics with it all done -- came so nice. :) Image Attachment(s):
