Need Paint Help - Pics

We just got new furniture and now I need to paint the accent walls in our great room.

Here are the two new pieces. The accent wall is the one behind the plaid chair. I would like all of the colors to flow and tie in the area rug. I'm at a loss. I was thinking red but, then I think the red might be too bold against the lighter wall or clash with the area rug. If I have to paint the lighter walls to make it all flow I will, just need suggestions. TIA!!!

I actually like it how it is now and I'm not a huge fan of accent walls, but if you really want to do one I think a chocolate brown would work (like the brown in the rug). I wouldn't do red with the yellow right in the next room. If you were up for repainting the dining/kitchen I would paint it that green that's in the chair, I think that would bring all the rooms together. Nice layout!
